I'm back!

Sorry, I know I've been absent for a while. Things have been a bit busy. Andrew and I went home for Christmas, and to get married! We really enjoyed the warm weather, sunshine and seeing all our friends and family again :)

We arrived back in Chicago a few weeks ago and my friend Emily came to visit en route to France. Emily and I spent some time in San Francisco (I was there for work) and New York. In San Francisco we visited Muir Woods and the Napa Valley and tasted food from different nations for every meal (Cuban, Mexican, Indian, Vietnamese, Moroccan)! In Chicago we went ice skating outside, did a bit of shopping, and Andrew and I took Emily to Hooters! The two days we had in New York were jam packed, with the highlights for me being seeing Manhattan at night from Brooklyn Bridge, and taking the Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty (even though my camera was misbehaving at that point). If you want to see a really detailed account, check out Emily's Blog. Here are a few pics from my not so speccy camera :)
