Asparabroccoflower

Last Saturday I was up early enough to go and check out the Farmers Market that is held every week behind our apartment building during the Summer. There were people selling cheese from Wisconsin, honey from Michigan, flowers and fruit and veggies. At one of the veggie stalls I spotted a vegetable I've never seen before - the asparabroccoflower!! As the name suggests its a cross between a broccoli and a cauliflower, and presumably an asparagus but I'm not sure how that works...

Anyway, its a very funky looking vegetable, and doesn't taste too bad either. Mostly like cauliflower, a little hint of broccoli, and the florets in shape of an asparagus! Check it out!

AAAGH! My worst nightmare is realised! Stay away, Mr Asparabrocco-YUCKO-flower!

Dicky.

P.S> Your BBQ would have tasted much better with a bit of easy cheese on the side... :)

That is a freaky looking veggie! I think I would be too freaked by its appearance to actually eat it...
