Knitting progress

I haven't got much knitting done recently (I'll elaborate further in a following post) but just thought I'd record where I'm up to at the moment. I ran out of yarn for my first knitting stitch project, and then I found the lovely Manos yarn and have started a scarf with that I will now finish first. I've also got to the tricky bit with my first project, figuring out the neck and sleeves. I think I've decided I want to make a round necked longsleeved jumper, and I got a crochet hook to finish the edges. Once I remember how to crochet. So now actually need to figure that one out :)

So, here's the progress!

Front and back of possible jumper using Knit Lattice Stitch

Manos scarf using Daisy Stitch

That stitch is so cute with that wool! We can be scarf twins! Hey, did I mention that it's a good idea to alternate the skeins (if you can be bothered)? I didn't with mine and there's a noticable difference between each end (if you look that is...).

Yes, you did mention about alternating skeins and I didn't bother following your advice and now I can see why it was good! But I don't think the variation is too bad, the main irritating thing is that in the middle skein the yarn has suddenly got quite a bit more compact (rolled more tightly) so the scarf's got a bit skinner in the middle section! Anyway, I'm now 2/3 of the way there, I'm pretty impressed! Looking forward to its first outing :)
