Zion

Wayne and Nancy are visiting the US and we met in Las Vegas this weekend. We escaped the heat of the Strip with a day trip to Zion National Park. It was hot there too - 105 F (40 C) - but much more bearable than walking the streets. We were all very impressed with the canyon, the contrasting colours of the rocks, the cool water in the river and the very blasé squirrels.

Awesome photos, Elsie! Did your new camera get to travel to Zion? Looks like you had some nice warm weather out there. See any other wildlife while you were in the park? Hope you had a fun trip!

You're alive! The fam has been wondering what you're up to.

New camera's first outing will be in the Tetons... Zion was a surprise and I wasn't prepared, silly me :)

It was very warm and I was soaking it up as Summer is slipping away here...

Great photos Elsie. I didn't realise you had such good photographers accompanying you on the trip. Love Nancy
